Welcome to the Human Resource Management Association of Barbados!

The Human Resource Management Association of Barbados (HRMAB) Inc was founded in 1996, and is the leading advocate of the human resource profession in Barbados. It is an independent association which aims to encourage discussion and debate on the wide range of issues which impact the employer-employee relationship, productivity, and workplace efficiency.

HRMAB members comprise individuals who have worked and/or studied the related disciplines including Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Industrial Relations, Labour Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Behavioural Sciences. We welcome members from all sectors involved in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Labour, Psychology and Behavioural Sciences including employers, and employer organisations, academics, students, and consultants from private practice.

We are a volunteer organisation and offer services, leadership roles, education and development opportunities for our members to enhance and enrich the profession. We also provide access to indispensable HR information designed to meet the needs of our members. In addition, HRMAB serves as an advocate and source of expert information on Human Resource legislative information.
