For what length of time do I have to work in order to be eligible for Unemployment Benefit?
For Unemployment Benefit you must be between 16 and pensionable age. You must be insured for at least 52 weeks, have not fewer than 20 contributions, paid or credited in 3 consecutive quarters ending with the relevant quarter and have not fewer than 7 contributions paid or credited in the relevant quarter.
