After living in the United Kingdom for some twenty years, I have returned to Barbados with a little pension from the U.K. Now I am told I do not qualify for a pension from National Insurance although there are a number of foreigners receiving it. Do you think this is fair?

 Persons who are receiving pension from another government are disqualified from receiving a non-contributory pension. There are a number of qualifying conditions for receiving a non-contributory pension and therefore, being a Barbadian does not automatically qualify you for the pension.
