Maintenance Coordinator/Technician

We are seeking an experienced and committed individuals to be part of our team as:
MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR/TECHNICIAN
Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, oversee, schedule and arrange work for maintenance department on a daily basis.
• Complete daily tasks with emphasis on planning & scheduling preventative/ corrective maintenance.
• Prepare reports, analyse data related to the maintenance history of company equipment, and make recommendations for improving & optimising operations.
• Assist with maintaining and updating equipment, operating and training manuals for the Maintenance department & other departments in the group.
• Troubleshoot and perform accurate diagnosis of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic problems in relation to plant equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and warranties.
• Procure necessary materials, tools, and spare parts for maintenance projects. Collaborate with other departments to prioritise maintenance needs and minimise disruptions to production.

Required Qualifications, Competencies and Skills:

• City & Guilds I & II or the equivalent with a minimum of two years working experience or Associates degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 1 year working experience.
• Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, schematics, manuals, P&ID, Electrical and pneumatic drawing documents.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools, equipment, and materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
