This position requires an analytical individual who is strong in project management, enjoys multi-tasking, and has excellent time management skills.  Being detail-oriented, proactive in approach, and resourceful are critical success factors in this role.  The ideal candidate must also be able to use initiative, have excellent communication skills, and be flexible to operate in various environments.

Specific Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Assess properties to develop Property Maintenance Schedules and manage preventative maintenance programs onsite and in Facility Management Software.
• Prepare and implement procedures and systems within company guidelines to ensure orderly, efficient and prioritized workflow.
• Source, negotiate, review and manage service contracts.
• Budget for, monitor, and control the expenses of properties in portfolio.
• Ensure Health, Safety and Environment requirements are met according to best practices and legislation.
• Manage Lease and Tenant arrangements.
• Coordinate the Corporate Governance activities.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a role completing similar duties.
• A background in Property/Facility Management and/or Maintenance Management would be valuable.
• An Associate’s degree in Facility Management, Maintenance Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Facility Management certification would be an asset.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Intermediary knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Must have own transportation to move between places of operations.
