About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Facility Management Accounts Supervisor to oversee the workflow between the Facility Managers and the FM Accounts team. The successful candidate will ensure that the accounting records for all Facility Management clients are accurately maintained, reports are prepared on time, and financial operations are carried out with precision and professionalism.

This role requires strong accounting knowledge, leadership ability, and excellent coordination skills to ensure seamless collaboration between the accounting team and the facility management operations.

Key Responsibilities

Produce standard monthly reports and communicate financial updates to property owners.
Supervise the preparation and accuracy of financial reports for clients, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to accounting standards.
Oversee cash flow management — ensuring prompt collection of receivables and payment of liabilities to avoid delinquency.
Monitor aged receivables and payables reports and liaise with Facility Managers for timely resolution of outstanding items.
Record and process payables, receivables, and disbursements, including supplier payments and bank deposits.
Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure reconciled accounts are maintained.
Supervise, coach, and support the FM Accounting Assistants to ensure team productivity and professional growth.
 

Qualifications & Experience

Completion of Level 2 of an accredited accounting designation program (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CGA) or equivalent qualification.
Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a similar supervisory or accounting role.
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency required).
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
